INITIAL CONSULTATION

Let’s Meet!
The first step in working together is a one-on-one consultation, where we discuss your upcoming project. Engaging us early ensures we can fully understand and shape your vision. During this meeting, we’ll explore your individual requirements, the desired functionality of your space and aesthetic preferences. We’ll also cover your non-negotiables, wish list, budget, and key objectives, while gaining a clear understanding of both the space and your lifestyle.

Following this initial consultation, we will provide a detailed fee proposal, outlining the scope of work and the design fee structure for the services required. This ensures clarity and alignment before we move forward with your project.

DEVELOPMENT

Following feedback from the concept stage, your design is developed in greater detail. This stage may include, but is not limited to, finalising colour and finish combinations, producing detailed elevation plans for kitchens, bathrooms, custom cabinetry, or other spaces, and refining furniture and styling selections. This stage may also include showroom visits to view products, finishes and appliances.

This is where your design takes shape. The fully developed design is then presented for further feedback. As we approach finalising your design, finer details are discussed, ensuring every element aligns with your needs and preferences.

FINAL

With final feedback on the developed design, these amendments are made and final selections recorded in your documentation. Detailed and ready for approval.

QUOTING

When final design documentation is complete and approval is received we can start obtaining quotes for all specified products and manufacture required. Clients who work with Kella Design Co. may be eligible for designer trade discounts with select industry suppliers. These discounts are available due to Kella Design Co.’s established relationships with suppliers cultivated over more than a decade in the industry. Discount availability and percentages vary by supplier, and not all suppliers offer trade pricing.

IMPLEMENTATION

If required, Kella Design Co,. can take you through the implementation of your design.

This service may include but is not limited to:

  • Co-ordinating and tracking all purchased items and manufacture

  • Working through any unexpected obstacles on site

  • Organising deliveries

  • Factory inspections

  • Supervision of installation and check measures

  • Liaising with all trades

CONCEPT

With your brief, we develop concept designs tailored to your vision. This stage may include, but is not limited to, floor plan layouts, colour and finish palettes, and furniture or styling selections.

These concepts are then presented in a collaborative meeting, where we discuss your feedback and refine these concepts. With a clear vision of where you would like to take your design, feedback is noted to further develop.
